In 2005, the Dekalb County Trojans Football Association (DCTFA) was created by our founder A.C. Carney as a football & cheer organization. As a 501 (c) 3 program our vision is to provide the experience of sports as a vehicle to teach and instill Spiritual Growth, Academic Standards & Physical Development. In 2007 the name was changed to Dekalb County Trojans Athletic Association (DCTAA) so that all sports could be provided to the community.
Dekalb County Trojans Athletic Association (D.C.T.A.A) fields tackle and flag football, cheerleading, baseball, and basketball teams ranging in ages 4 thru 17 years old.
ALL of our programs are age based.
Our service areas including but not limited to, Decatur, Dekalb County, East Atlanta and Henry County, Georgia....
D.C.T.A.A prides itself on creating and molding the complete athlete by instilling Spiritual Growth, Academic Standards and Physical Development in it's everyday regiment .
We also pride ourselves on having one of the best collection of coaches, parents, and board members in Youth Sports across Metro Atlanta.
While other associations may talk or brag about being the best and winning percentages, our student-athletes will excel beyond the "field of play" with our three-core values system.
Within the few years they will have in D.C.T.A.A. they will be provided with the important and critical keys to become Champions in LIFE.
